Tell us about your career and what you do now.

I have served as a music pastor for 12 years, youth pastor for 4 years, Lead pastor for 1 year and District Youth Director for 4 years.

What is your favorite memory from CBC?

Hands down, chapel services.

How did CBC help you identify/develop your calling?

Being surrounded by like-minded people helped me eliminate distractions, which led to an ability to clearly hear the voice of God.

How did your experience at CBC prepare you for life after graduation?

The foundation of Christian living as an adult combined with the practical everyday experience in ministry prepared me.

What advice would you give a current student preparing for the workforce?

Get the “yes” out of the way. Learn how to live a surrendered life of obedience now, no matter the cost.

What would you look for if you were in a position to hire a new graduate?

Humility and servanthood. I can teach skills, but it is really hard to teach someone how to be a servant.
